Virtual Session
Asteroid Day at GMU and Petaluma Creamery brings together leaders in infrastructure, finance, digital twins, AI, construction, insurance, and standards to explore how trusted digital data can support next-generation infrastructure. The June 30 program marks the launch of the Infrastructure Financial Data (IFD) Working Group, with an initial focus on transforming today’s PDF-based Application for Payment (AFP) documents into standardized, machine-readable XBRL data.
This effort supports an open, standards-based digital ecosystem where infrastructure financial data can be more transparent, interoperable, auditable, and useful for AI-enabled workflows. Stakeholders from government, industry, academia, and technology are invited to participate in the IFD Working Group review-and-comment process and help shape a future path toward ISO recognition.
