NIBS/NSF Spatiotemporal Innovation Center Digital Summit at George Mason University

George Mason University will host the NIBS / NSF Spatiotemporal Innovation Center Digital Summit on May 5, 2026. The summit will bring together leaders from academia, government, and industry to explore how artificial intelligence and digital technologies can transform the built environment.

The event will highlight emerging opportunities for applying AI to areas such as project planning, design, procurement, supply chain management, construction, and building operations. Participants will discuss how advanced digital platforms and intelligent systems can reduce costs, increase efficiency, and enable more resilient infrastructure.

The summit will also feature collaboration with Salesforce and The NEW National Museum of the United States Navy, who are partnering to explore next-generation approaches for AI-enabled buildings and infrastructure systems. The initiative aims to provide a collaborative environment where industry experts, government partners, and university AI teams can explore innovative solutions and mentorship opportunities.
