GuardianPath AI is a predictive, human-centered AI platform that quantifies K–12 pedestrian safety by assigning every student commute a time-aware Safety Score. Unlike traditional Safe Routes to School assessments that rely on static, infrequent audits, GuardianPath AI fuses computer vision, geospatial analytics, and real-time traffic flow data to identify risks before injuries occur—especially during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal peaks when congestion, speed variability, and driver stress are highest. The system evaluates infrastructure quality, traffic behavior, near-miss indicators, and child-specific walking dynamics to generate actionable safety maps, safer route recommendations, and equity-focused infrastructure priorities. By revealing when and where streets become dangerous—not just where crashes have already happened—GuardianPath AI enables schools, families, and cities to proactively protect students and target safety investments where they will save the most lives.
